GORHAM – The unbeaten University of Southern Maine Huskies knocked off the seventh-ranked Bowdoin College Polar Bears 2-0 in men’s soccer action Tuesday.

Zach Rossignol scored his first goal of the season 15 minutes into the second half and Andy Budelman scored 24 minutes later off an assist from Eddie Weddington. Chris Willard made seven saves on 20 shots for the 5-0-1 Huskies.

For the 3-1 Polar Bears of Brunswick, Lucas Bare saved one of four shots.

Husson 6, St. Joseph’s 0

At the Winkin Complex in Bangor, Karoleanne Emery scored two goals and recorded three assists to lead the Eagles to their first win.

Sarah Skinner added two goals for 1-3 Husson. Nicole Palmer chipped in with a goal and an assist, Amy McDaniel had a goal, and Janel Fearon and Erin Brown each had an assist. Kelly Bocchino stopped all six shots she faced.

Kelsey Moody had eight saves on 18 shots for the 0-5 Monks of Standish.
