BOYS

Big School (Classes A-B)

JOSH ALDUS

Aldus, a senior tailback for the Belfast football team, amassed 441 total yards as the Lions remained unbeaten with a 42-22 win over Hampden Academy. Aldus rushed for 226 yards and had 215 yards on kick returns. He also scored five touchdowns and a pair of two-point conversion. He currently leads all PTC Class B rushers with 604 yards in three games.

Small School (Classes C-D)

NICK TYMOCZKO

Tymoczko, a senior tailback for the Bucksport football team, rushed for 271 yards and three touchdowns as Bucksport defeated Foxcroft Academy 34-21 to remain undefeated and end the Ponies’ 14-game winning streak. Tymoczko scored on Bucksport’s first two plays from scrimmage on runs of 58 and 77 yards to give the Golden Bucks a quick lead. He now has rushed for 616 yards in three games this season, and is averaging 11 yards per carry.

GIRLS

Big School (Classes A-B)

KALLIE ALDUS

A member of the Belfast High field hockey team, Aldus scored the game-winning goal against Mount View with 7:50 left in a 2-1 victory to help the Lions remain undefeated. Aldus also had a goal and an assist for 6-0 Belfast in a 3-0 win over Leavitt.

Small School (Classes C-D)

SARAH BEAL

Beal, a senior setter from Jonesport-Beals, went 26-for-27 in serving, and had 21 aces, 13 assists and five digs to help the Royalettes to a 1-1 record.
