Army ROTC
FORT KNOX, Ky. – Julie E. Brown has graduated from the Army ROTC Leader’s Training Course at Fort Knox, Ky. The camp is a four-week leadership internship for cadets who are between their sophomore and junior years in college. College students experience and examine the Army without incurring an obligation to serve in the Army or ROTC, and are eligible to receive two-year college scholarship offers and attend the ROTC Advanced Course at their college.
Brown is a student at the University of Maine. She is the daughter of the Rev. Patricia and James Brown of Belfast.
Advanced training
FORT BENNING, Ga. – Pfc. Ryan M. Celli has completed advanced military training at Fort Benning, Ga. He completed basic training last summer at the same location.
While continuing his education at the University of Maine, Celli is assigned to the Maine Army National Guard, Company B 3-172 Mountain Infantry in Brewer. A 2003 graduate of John Bapst Memorial High School, Celli is the son of Ellen and Michael Celli of Brewer.
