FARMINGTON – Tyler Hartshorn scored on a Kevin Ettar assist to propel the University of Maine at Farmington to a 3-0 men’s soccer victory over Husson on Wednesday.
Rob Cloutier and Craig Cameron also scored for 3-2 UM-Farmington. Seabren Reeves stopped both shots he faced.
Matt Goodman stopped five of eight shots for 3-2 Husson.
Bates 3, Saint Joseph’s 1
At Standish, Terence O’Connell scored twice to lead Bates.
Alex Wolff added a goal for the Bobcats, while James Kenley and Aaron Schlecher stopped three shots.
Shannon DeShield scored at 62:02 for Saint Joseph’s and Brian White made 12 saves.
Women’s soccer
Bates 2, Southern Maine 0
At Gorham, Katie Carroll scored twice to lift Bates past the University of Southern Maine.
Jenna Benson had an assist for 2-0 Bates. Emily Howieson made six saves on eight shots.
Marcy Ansley stopped seven of 19 shots for the 2-3-2 Huskies.

UNE 3, Thomas 0
At Waterville, Lisa Baillargeon scored all three goals to push the University of New England to the victory.
Kayla Hinkley had an assist for the 5-0 Nor’easters while Krystal Wysocki made five saves on eight shots.
Jen Lane stopped 10 of 13 shots for 2-4 Thomas College.
