WATERVILLE – Lindsey Comeau scored two first-half goals Thursday to spark Maine Maritime Academy of Castine to a 4-0 women’s soccer victory over Thomas College.

Nicole McKenna and Jenny Stevens added goals while Kristen Gabor and Krista Imes added assists for the 4-1-1 Mariners. Meghan Marshall had seven saves on nine shots.

Jessie Craft and Danielle Searles combined for 10 saves on 18 shots for the 0-6 Terriers.

Field hockey

UM-Farmington 3, USM 0

At Farmington, Kristi Chambers, Kristy Veazie and Mary Berry each scored for the Beavers in the win.

Rachel Sheloske and Ashleigh Biette combined for six saves for UMaine-Farmington.

Sadie Gamache-Fournier made 12 saves for the Huskies of Gorham.

Colby 4, Husson 0

At Waterville, Wendy Bonner scored three goals and had an assist to break the Mules’ career scoring record in the win.

Adrienne LeClair scored Colby’s other goal. Jamie Enos made one save on two shots.

Three different Eagles goalies combined to make 27 saves on 31 shots.

Men’s soccer

Colby 3, U-New England 0

At Biddeford, Brian Kelly and Will Kinder scored 13 seconds apart in the second half in the Mules for the win.

Kinder added another goal later in the half for 1-2 Colby College of Waterville. Brian Davidson had three saves on five shots.

Steve Bishop stopped 11 of 22 shots for the 0-4-1 Nor’easters.
