PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Max Louscher of Bangor finished in second place in the Juvenile Boys division Thursday in the Providence Open figure skating competition.

The 11-year-old from Bangor, who was skating in his third competition at the Juvenile level, received two firsts and three seconds in the judging, netting him the second-place finish in the five-person field.
