LEWISTON – The Kerry-Edwards campaign announced Friday that John Edwards will return to Maine on Sunday, Sept. 26, for a campaign stop in Lewiston.

The visit will be the Democratic vice presidential candidate’s second to Maine this month. He held a rally at the University of Maine on Sept. 8.

Details on the Lewiston trip were being worked out late Friday.

A campaign spokesperson suggested people interested in attending the event contact the Victory 2004 headquarters in either Bangor at 942-5830 or Lewiston at 689-2140 for more information on Saturday.
