Bowdoin College goalie Kate Leonard earned NESCAC Field Hockey Player of the Week honors. She had eight saves and saved three of five penalty strokes in a 2-1 win against Williams Sunday.
Terence O’Connell
Terence O’Connell of Bates College was named the NESCAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week. He scored three goals and handed out two assists in a 3-0 Bobcats’ week.
Zach Rossignol, Chris Willard
University of Southern Maine midfielder Zach Rossignol earned Little East Offensive Player of the Week honors while teammate Chris Willard was named Defensive Player of the Week. Rossignol notched a goal plus two assists while Willard posted seven saves in a 2-0 shutout over Bowdoin.
Ashley Freeman
The University of Southern Maine freshman was named Little East Volleyball Player of the Week, compiling 44 kills, 30 digs and seven blocks in leading USM to a 2-2 week.
Lisa Baillargeon
Lisa Baillargeon of the University of New England was named Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week in field hockey. She scored four goals in two games last week.
