BELFAST – The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to participate in its Fall Fashion Fling and Auction.
The event will take place at the Boathouse at Steamboat Landing at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6.
Proceeds will go toward filling a $42,000 budget gap and Salvation Army programs. A light buffet will be offered.
Local celebrities, such as the mayor, city council and city manager, as well as other infamous characters, will be modeling select items of clothing from the racks of the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
The clothing will be offered at auction following the fashion show.
Admission to the show is $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and students.
