HOLDEN – Lost Lamb Association held a ribbon cutting ceremony Sept. 24 for its new corporate office building in DeBeck Business Park.

Stephen Condon, Holden’s economic development officer, and Ralph McLeod, chairman of the Town Council, welcomed Tiff Shuttlesworth, Lost Lamb president founder and his wife, Judy.

The dedication of the Lost Lamb corporate office was held Sept. 25 at DeBeck Park in celebration of the Shuttlesworths’ 25 years of marriage and ministry.

The 5,350-square-foot structure located on more than an acre of land in the business park houses the corporate offices of the 25-year-old nonprofit religious and charitable organization.

Shuttlesworth, 46, a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God, said his goal was “to lead one million people to a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.” That has been the focus of Lost Lamb Association for two-and-a-half decades. Shuttlesworth averages 300 speaking engagements a year. He has traveled extensively throughout North America and in more than 24 countries around the world, recently returning from Malta and Germany.

Shuttlesworth said he has found that people have common needs, no matter what their language or culture. Each year, through itinerant ministry in churches and venues thousands come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, he said.

Lost Lamb Association sponsors two American evangelists and eight Asian evangelists monthly, provides several thousand pounds of food to needy children both here in America and in foreign countries, provides Bibles with discipleship materials to young converts, gives clothing to the impoverished and grants scholarship assistance to underprivileged young people who are training for evangelism.

In Penobscot County, Thanksgiving outreaches through Lost Lamb Association have provided several tons of food for single mothers and children. Hundreds of new toys have been distributed to needy children at Christmas.

Shuttlesworth also is a recording artist and musician whose talents are featured on many Christian television and radio programs. His recordings are a mix of his abilities as a singer-songwriter and guitarist with better-known songs. He performs a variety of religious music from contemporary Christian to classic gospel.

Shuttlesworth is a 1979 graduate of Zion Bible Institute in Barrington, R.I. He said he has modeled his work and the Lost Lamb Association ministry on the example set by the 86-year-old Dr. Billy Graham.

Shuttlesworth is recognized by Billy Graham’s Notable Names in Evangelism and serves on the executive committee of the Proclamation Evangelistic Network for the Billy Graham Center, Institute of Strategic Evangelism at Wheaton College in Illinois. He is a member of the General Presbytery to the Commission on Evangelism for the General Council of the Assemblies of God, and serves on a variety of other boards.
