WATERVILLE – Ryan Buttice scored two goals to lead the Thomas College Terriers to a 3-0 men’s soccer victory over the University of Maine-Presque Isle on Friday.
Tyler Colby scored the other goal for the Terriers. Phil Bailey, Shawn Hiller, and Ryan Conrad combined for six saves on 10 shots.
Braden Dragomir made three saves on 17 shots for the Owls.

Northeastern 2, Maine 1
At Boston, Kristen Kovalik scored both of Northeastern University’s goals and the Huskies held off the Black Bears to remain unbeaten in America East conference play.
Mariel Wilner made 8 saves on 9 shots for 8-3-2 Northeastern.
Heather Hathorn cut the Huskies’ lead in half, but her unassisted goal came with just 11/2 minutes left in the game. Tanya Adorno made five saves on nine shots for the 7-4-1 Black Bears, who dropped to 1-2 in conference play.
