ROCKLAND – Mardy Simon ran for three touchdowns and his brother Joe Simon caught a 46-yard TD pass from Andrew Chase to power the Orono Red Riots to a 43-20 high school football victory over Rockland on Friday night.
Mardy Simon scored on runs of 3 yards in the first quarter, 12 yards in the second, and 14 yards in the fourth as Orono rushed 51 times for 293 yards.
Chase completed 3 of 5 passes for 77 yards and the TD and had one intercepted. Chase also scored on a 1-yard run, and Mo Nazmy added a 2-yard TD run.
For the Tigers, Chris Sawyer carried seven times for 76 yards and two TDs, and Wade Oliver added 16 carries for 132 yards. Rockland had 250 yards rushing on 43 carries. Andrew Weiss was 5-for-14 passing for 79 yards and a 28-yard TD strike to Josh Fogg to open the scoring.

At Lincoln, defensive end Isaac Young led the Mattanawcook Academy Lynx with nine tackles, four sacks, and one fumble recovery as they notched their first shutout of the season.
Lynx quarterback Dylan Hanscom completed five of nine passes for 60 yards and a touchdown. D.J. Robinson caught three passes for 44 yards and a TD. Mackenzie Haines gained 73 yards on eight carries.

At Millinocket, Bobby Gilbert rushed for three touchdowns en route to 107 yards on 20 carries and his visiting Foxcroft Academy Ponies notched their fifth win in six games.
James McPhee scored on touchdown runs of 5 and 59 yards. The Ponies held Stearns to 92 yards rushing.
Stearns quarterback Jordan Burleigh completed five passes for 97 yards and a touchdown, a 40-yarder to George Surrette.

At Clark Memorial Field in Skowhegan, Aaron Chambers scored twice as the Indians evened their record at 3-3 in Pine Tree Conference Class A play.
Chambers scored on a 67-yard run on the game’s first play from scrimmage.
Lawrence tied the game in the second quarter on a 40-yard pass from Aaron Champagne to Dylan Costigan.
Chambers gave Skowhegan the lead for good with a 7-yard TD run in the third quarter.

Leavitt 54, Old Town 14
At Old Town, Chris Brewer, Matt Cote and Brad Hardacker scored two touchdowns apiece to power Leavitt of Turner Center.
Brewer had TD runs of 5 and 7 yards, Cote ran 42 yards and 9 yards for his TDs, and Hardacker ran 56 yards for one TD and returned a kickoff 75 yards for the other. Corey Witham added a 54-yard interception return for a touchdown, and Matt Worcester ran 8 yards for a TD. Hardacker finished with 187 all-purpose yards, and Cote had 185.
Travis Shaw caught two touchdown passes from Jarrett Lukas for the Indians, a 20-yarder in the first quarter and a 15-yarder in the fourth.
Lukas was 7 for 12 for 147 yards and the two TDs, but he was intercepted three times. Shaw had 82 yards receiving and Logan Bouchard 65.

At Bucksport, senior tailback Nick Tymoczko rushed for 264 yards and four touchdowns on 19 carries as the Golden Bucks remained unbeaten in LTC play.
John Harvey added three pass receptions for 63 yards, including a 38-yard touchdown pass from Joey Carmichael that gave Bucksport a 6-0 lead.
Tymoczko, who now has rushed for 1,305 yards in six games this season, followed with TD runs of 44, 4, 9, and 44 yards to give Bucksport a 33-0 halftime lead.
Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield scored in the third quarter as Victor Quint hit brother Marty Quint with a 4-yard touchdown pass.
Chris Maguire scored on a 9-yard run for Bucksport in the fourth quarter.
Bucksport finished with 437 total yards.
Marty Quint had seven pass receptions for 74 yards, while MCI teammate Russell Lawn had 96 rushing yards on 11 carries.
