Baseball league

HAMPDEN – A baseball league for children under 10 years old will begin Sunday, Oct. 17, at the Maine Sports Complex, 330 Coldbrook Road. Each team will play once a week, indoors, for 10 weeks.

Soccer also is available, including: indoor 7 a-side teams and tournaments, and skills challenge for junior varsity teams and tournaments.

Cheering clinic

OLD TOWN – A cheering clinic will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, at Old Town High School. Kindergarten through grade four will meet 8 a.m.-noon, and fifth through eighth grades will meet 1-5 p.m.

The $25 fee includes the T-shirt. Make checks payable to Friends of Old Town Cheering.
