SKOWHEGAN – The Somerset County Soil and Water Conservation District and University of Maine Extension Service will sponsor a workshop on best forestry management practices to preserve water quality and fish passage, from 8 a.m. to noon Friday, Oct. 22.

The event will cost $5 and may meet professional forestry recertification requirements. Preregistration is required by Monday, Oct. 18.
