ROCKPORT – Brydon Mitchell gave the No. 8 Camden Hills Windjammers the game-winning goal during penalty corners as they knocked out the No. 9 Winslow Black Raiders 2-1 in an Eastern Maine Class B preliminary Saturday.

Camden Hills, now 9-5-1, will face No. 1 Belfast in a Tuesday quarterfinal.

Marianne Croce scored for the Windjammers and Ali Kriegal tied it up for Winslow. Neither team could score in two overtime periods, so the game went to penalty shots. Nikki Peters assisted on Kriegal’s goal.

Georgia Smith saved 11 of 12 shots for Camden Hills. Jen Bragg made six saves on nine shots for Winslow, which was the defending Eastern Maine Class B champion.

Foxcroft 51, Maranacook 6

At Readfield, Bobby Gilbert rushed for five touchdowns and had 172 yards on 12 carries to go with 12 tackles as the Ponies rolled.

James McPhee carried three times for 59 yards and had a touchdown run, while Dan Speed caught a 50-yard TD pass from Logan Forrest and Mike McNaughton rushed for a 10-yard score. Foxcroft rolled up 331 yards on 35 carries. Bobby Blackburn and McPhee each had nine tackles.

Maranacook’s Jake Hewitt scored on a 7-yard run in the final play of the game.

At Falmouth, Jeremy Tyler ran for two touchdowns and racked up 193 yards on 17 carries as the Broncos blanked the Yachtsmen.

Ramsey Lafayette had eight tackles and two assists, including two sacks and three tackles behind the line of scrimmage that combined to cost Falmouth 30 rushing yards. Som Ratsakonsy had six tackles and three assists while Drew Chase had five tackles and two assists. Justin Preston rushed for 42 yards. Chris Morris scored on a 1-yard run and Bryce Seitel tackled Falmouth quarterback Michael Simpson in the end zone for a safety.

The Yachtsmen had 35 yards on 33 carries and Simpson completed two of four passes for 11 yards.
