ADAM CHASE

Chase, a defensive back for the Orono High football team, is the LTC Class C Player of the Week. Chase had 12 tackles, including nine solos, and two interceptions with returns totaling 122 yards in the Red Riots’ 30-29 win against Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln. He returned his first interception 80 yards for a touchdown in the final minute of the first half.

WAYNE HARRINGTON

Wayne Harrington of Colby College in Waterville has been named the ECAC Division III Northeast Football Co-Defensive Player of the Week. The senior linebacker had 18 tackles and four tackles for a loss in Colby’s 19-10 loss to Amherst on Saturday.

KAITLIN ADAMS

Kaitlin Adams of Colby College in Waterville has been named the ECAC Division III Volleyball Player of the Week. Adams had a hitting percentage of .656 while averaging four kills and 1.2 blocks per game in two NESCAC victories. She had a school-record .789 hitting percentage with 16 kills in a three-game victory over Bates.
