GREENVILLE – Hannah Breton had a hand in all three Greenville goals, scoring two and assisting on one, to lead the Lakers to a 3-0 Eastern Maine Class D victory over the Ashland Hornets in schoolgirl soccer action Wednesday.

Emily Fowle also had a goal for second-seeded Greenville, which improved to 15-1 and travels to No. 1 Lee Academy for Saturday’s 2 p.m. regional championship game.

Beth Bartley made five stops on nine shots.

Ashley Nemer made 15 saves on 23 shots for third-seeded Ashland, which wound up 14-2.

Class B

Presque Isle 3, Bucksport 0

At Presque Isle, Natasha Deschene’s penalty-kick goal with 26:33 left in the first half proved all the offense the top-seeded, undefeated Wildcats would need.

Presque Isle (16-0) entertains No. 2 Winslow (13-1-2) in Saturday’s regional title game, tentatively scheduled for 1 p.m.

Emily Robertson scored a first-half goal off a Sarah Gonzoroski assist and assisted on Angela Norsworthy’s second-half goal for Presque Isle. Brianna Young made five saves on seven shots.

Caitlin Whalen registered 15 saves on 18 shots for the fourth-seeded Golden Bucks, who finished the season 11-4-1.

Winslow 3, John Bapst 0

At Winslow, Brittany Morin scored twice and added an assist to lead the No. 2 Black Raiders past No. 3 John Bapst.

Nicole Farrell had a goal and an assist for 13-1-2 Winslow. Hannah Brazier stopped 10 of the 12 shots to come her way.

Caroline Cassling made seven saves on 14 shots for the 11-4-1 Crusaders of Bangor.

Class C

Madawaska 4, Limestone 0

At Madawaska, Kelly Chasse scored once and assisted on two goals as the second-seeded Owls stopped the No. 6 Eagles.

Madawaska (9-3-3) plays host to No. 5 George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill (8-5-3) in Saturday’s EM title contest.

Jamie Nadeau added a goal and an assist. Beth Gerard and Ashley Cyr had a goal apiece, while Roxanne Phelan posted an assist. Liz Laplante made eight saves on nine shots.

Melanie Allen faced 22 shots and stopped 16 for 11-4-1 Limestone/Maine School of Science and Mathematics.
