PORTLAND – Next Wednesday’s ticker tape parade in Portland for the Boston Red Sox is being rescheduled. City officials said the team notified them Friday that a scheduling issue forced postponement of the parade that was to be held on the afternoon after Election Day.

PORTLAND – Next Wednesday’s ticker tape parade in Portland for the Boston Red Sox is being rescheduled.

City officials said the team notified them Friday that a scheduling issue forced postponement of the parade that was to be held on the afternoon after Election Day.

The Red Sox indicated that they would come up with another date to show off their World Series trophy in Portland.

The Red Sox parade in Boston on Saturday is scheduled to go on as planned.
