BUCKSPORT – Nick Tymoczko ran 362 yards on 35 carries and scored six touchdowns to lead Bucksport High to a 53-14 Class C football win over the Orono Red Riots Friday night. Tymoczko broke the LTC record for yards in the regular season with 2,071.

BUCKSPORT – Nick Tymoczko ran 362 yards on 35 carries and scored six touchdowns to lead Bucksport High to a 53-14 Class C football win over the Orono Red Riots Friday night.

Tymoczko broke the LTC record for yards in the regular season with 2,071.

Chris Maguire scored a touchdown on a 7-yard run for Bucksport and Bradley Stone added a 3-yard touchdown run.

Bucksport had 436 yards of rushing.

Marty Simon had 12 carries for 126 yards and scored a touchdown for Orono. Joe Fullwood scored on a 13-yard run.

Orono had 233 yards of rushing.

At Millinocket, Mackenzie Haines scored four touchdowns to help lead the Lynx of Lincoln to the victory.

Dylan Hanscom ran in a touchdown and passed for two more, both to Corey Drost. Matt Morin and Randy Reed each kicked an extra point for Mattanawcook.

The Lynx held the Minutemen to three first downs.

At Belfast, Garren Horne ran for 146 yards on seven carries and scored three touchdowns as the Lions topped the Trojans.

Josh Aldus had eight carries for 100 yards, scored two touchdowns and rushed for four two-point conversions. Travis Lee added two touchdowns for Belfast and Andy Whalen chipped in with a TD run.

Sean Parady ran five yards to score a touchdown for Mount Desert Island. He also completed a 45-yard touchdown pass to Vincent Poirier-Moore.

At Gardiner, Tom Colby had 23 carries for 164 yards and scored two touchdowns to help lead No. 1 Gardiner past No. 8 Oxford Hills in the Class A PTC quarterfinals.

Gardiner will host No. 5 Bangor next week after the Rams defeaeted No. 4 Brunswick 16-13.

In other PTC quarterfinals, No. 3 Mt. Blue of Farmington defeated No. 6 Messalonskee of Oakland 28-13 and No. 7 Skowhegan beat No. 2 Windham 46-20.

Craig Toulouse ran 63 yards on 16 carries and scored two touchdowns for Gardiner. Kerry Ramsey caught a 25 yard touchdown pass from Kyle Stilphen.

Gardiner had 286 yards rushing.

Jim Bower scored Oxford Hills’ lone touchdown in the second quarter on a three-yard run. Oxford Hills had 166 total yards.
