Home, sweet home
It’s time for Boston’s 18th annual Christmas Festival, and the centerpiece are houses that look good enough to eat. The festival, which takes place Nov. 5-7 at the World Trade Center in Boston, features a gingerbread house competition with entries from some of the city’s finest restaurants, bakeries and culinary schools. The houses, which depict legendary landmarks from around the world, will be offered for sale as a fund-raiser for Community Servings, a home-delivered meals program for individuals and families living with HIV, AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses. Tickets cost $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and are free for children under 14. For information, call (617) 385-5000 or visit www.christmascraftfestival.com.
