Sea Dogs individual game tickets on sale

PORTLAND – Individual game tickets for the Portland Sea Dogs 2005 season along with Hannaford Eastern League All-Star Game tickets went on sale Saturday at 9 a.m. at Hadlock Field. The first person in line arrived at just after midnight. A dozen others soon joined him. When the ticket office opened, more than 100 people were in line to secure tickets.

The Sea Dogs sold 4,313 tickets Saturday, the best ticket sales day in team history, excluding the first day of ticket sales in the team’s inaugural season in 1994. Saturday’s total was an improvement of more than 1,700 tickets over last season’s first day of sales.

The Portland Sea Dogs will be accepting telephone and Internet orders starting at 9 a.m. today. Tickets can be ordered by calling 207-879-9500 or by logging on to www.seadogs.com. Ticket office hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
