AUGUSTA – Gov. John Baldacci, state leaders, business representatives and members of nonprofit economic development agencies will travel to Dusseldorf, Germany, and Milan, Italy, Nov. 13-20, on an international trade mission.
A total of 30 people will travel with Baldacci, with about a dozen representing Maine businesses.
“With a combined gross domestic profit of $3.62 trillion, the German and Italian markets are key destinations for Maine’s growing exports,” Baldacci said. “This mission is another important step in expanding opportunities for trade and investment with Europe.”
