AUGUSTA – In recognition of Veterans Day, the secretary of state is reminding Mainers of the availability of a collection of moving tributes to veterans from their friends and relatives.

“Maine Remembers Those Who Served,” chronicles the contributions of men and women from Maine in all branches of the military during the past 250 years. The book celebrates their selfless dedication and commitment to service, and honors their legacy of defending democracy, Secretary of State Dan A.
