Deer season is in full swing and hungry hunters are still looking for spots to “fuel up” before heading into the woods.

Luckily, many civic organizations plan meals for hunters all season long.

Here are a few of the meals on tap in the days to come:

. In Alton, a hunter’s breakfast buffet is planned for today at Alton United Methodist Church on Bennoch Road. The breakfast will run from 5-9 a.m.

. In Hampden, a hunter’s breakfast is scheduled for today at the Kiwanis Civic Center from 5-9 a.m. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children.

. In Hampden, a hunter’s breakfast will be held today at the Hampden Snowmobile Club on Western Avenue. The breakfast runs from 4:30-9 a.m. and proceeds benefit the club’s scholarship fund.

. In Prospect, a hunter’s breakfast will be held from 4-8 a.m. today at the Prospect Community Center. The cost is $4, or $2 for children under 12.

. At Passadumkeag, a public hunter’s supper is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 20, at the community building. The supper will run from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children. For more information contact Lillian Marquis at 732-3232 or Alice Dolley at 732-4155.

. At Eddington, a hunter’s breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Eddington School. The price is $5, or $15 for a family of four. Raffles are planned. Call 843-5238 for more information.
