ORONO – Carmen Morgan had 14 kills and 14 digs and Kaili Jordan added 19 kills and 12 digs to help lead the University of Maine volleyball team to a 3-2 victory over Albany Friday.
The Bears won it 15-30, 33-31, 24-30, 30-26, 15-12.
Leah Guidinger had 13 kills and 14 digs for the 17-10 Black Bears and Shelly Seipp had 55 set assists and 11 digs. Jody Connacher had 23 digs and Shannan Fotter had 16 kills.
Shelby Goldman had 22 kills for 24-6 Albany and Ashley DeNeal had 23 digs.

Mount Allison, UMFK win
At Fort Kent, Meghan Craig scored 17 points to help lead Mount Allison past UMaine-Machias 66-65 in the early game and Ashley Hichborn had 14 points to push UM-Fort Kent by Central Maine Community College 62-65 in the second game.
In the first game, Katie Green netted 14 points for Mount Allison and Maria Seman added 12.
Cassandra Vega and Kelly Welles each scored 17 points for the Clippers and Sara Ricker added 14 points.
In the second game, Allison Lutz scored 11 points for UM-Fort Kent.
Ashley Sweet netted 24 points for CMCC.

UMass 3, Boston College 3 (OT)
BOSTON – Gabe Winer stopped 51 shots as Massachusetts held off Boston College for an overtime tie.
Tim Vitek scored twice for UMass (5-4-1, 3-2-1 Hockey East). His first was at 5:15 of the first period, and Stephen Werner made it 2-0 at 3:52 in the second period. But Boston College (4-1-1, 2-0-1) got on the boards less than a minute later with Ned Havern’s score, Joe Rooney tied it at 9:29, and John Adams gave BC its first lead at 4:09 in the third.
Vitek netted the tying goal at 9:45 of the third.
Cory Schneider made 14 saves for Boston College.
New Hampshire 3, Providence 2
DURHAM, N.H. – Preston Callander scored the game-winning goal with 7:33 left to play to give New Hampshire a victory over Providence.
With New Hampshire (5-2-1, 2-1-0) trailing 2-1 going into the third, Jacob Micflikier evened it up with a goal from between the circles at 3:55.
New Hampshire took its first lead over Providence (4-4-0, 2-3-0) at 12:27 when Callander collected a pass from Sean Collins and fired a low shot into the net.
Boston U. 6, Merrimack 4
BOSTON – Six different players scored for Boston University in a win over Merrimack.
Merrimack (3-6, 1-4 Hockey East) tied the game at 2-2 on Ryan Sulivan’s goal at 1:42 of the second period. But Ken Roche and Ryan Monaghan scored to give Boston U. (4-3, 3-1) a 4-2 lead.
John Curry earned the win in goal with 20 saves, while Jim Healey had 31 saves in a losing effort.
