Mike Johnson of Salisbury, Mass. led an impressive showing for the Busch North drivers as he captured the second annual Toyota All-Star Showdown at Irwindale Speedway (Cal.) Saturday night. Johnson was followed across the finish line by Busch North drivers Matt Kobyluck of Oakdale, Conn., Joey McCarthy of Randolph, N.J. and Mike Olsen of No. Haverhill, N.H. Winston West driver Tim Woods III was fifth. Busch North drivers took nine of the first 11 spots. Scarborough’s Kelly Moore was eighth, his son, Ryan, was 18th and three-time Busch North champ Andy Santerre of Cherryfield wound up 28th when mechanical failure ended his race after just 13 of the 150 laps.
