Maybe Sens. Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe could explain to the working people why the Social Security pension funds are so easily tapped into for pet projects, and IOUs placed in deteriorating Social Security funds.

I have yet to hear your pension funds and federal employees’ pension funds ever mentioned; no money drawn out or IOUs put into your pension funds.

If Social Security was left for what is was intended for, there would be plenty of money.

Maybe the presidents and cabinets of all the countries should fight the wars themselves. Perhaps it would be the end of all wars.
