EMMC women prevail Harris scores 20 points for Eagles

BANGOR – Katie Harris hit four 3-pointers and scored 20 points to power the Eastern Maine Community College women’s basketball team to a 73-43 victory over Unity Thursday.

Jessica Fitzmaurice added 12 points for the Golden Eagles of Bangor and Stephanie Kennedy chipped in with 10.

Lindsey Smith scored 10 to spark the Rams.

At Unity, Jeremy Kervin had 24 points and 11 rebounds as the Rams prevailed.

Tyler Ferguson notched 12 points and 13 boards for Unity while Jared Erskine had 12 of his own.

Mark Rivers led the Golden Eagles of Bangor with 21 points while Richard Korhonen added 14.
