Coach’s comment: “She’s a totally different player this year with her confidence and her demeanor. She’s learning how to play defense underneath, but rebounding’s the key thing that we need from her. She’s very versatile, but we’re playing her in the post.”

Coach’s comment: “She has the ability to score. Her moves are uncanny, hard to stop sometimes. A big key for her is her rebounding. She’s really got to be smart and use her body and her long levers defensively.”

Career averages: Averaged 18.7 points and 9.7 rebounds as a senior at Barbara Goleman Senior High School

Career highlights: An All-Miami Dade First-Team selection, a Florida Sports Writers Association All-State honorable mention.

Coach’s comment: “She could really be one of the best one-on-one players on the team. She’s extremely athletic, very smooth. When she learns and understands our system, I think she’ll make an impact.”

MARGARET ELDERTON

Career highlights: Four-year starter, led Haverford to three Central League titles; two-time Central League MVP, second-team all-area by Philadelphia Inquirer.

Coach’s comment: “She can score, she can create, and she’s a great passer. She sees the court better than anyone we have on our team right now. She has no fear.”
