Wiscasset Raceway owners David and Sandra St. Clair and their daughter Tammy Reynolds have declared their intentions to continue operation of the raceway for the 2005 season.

Reynolds, Wiscasset Raceway’s V.P. of Operations, released a statement on the behalf of the family after a Bangor area television station had incorrectly reported that the track had been leased to T&J Track Management. “Owners David and Sandra St. Clair have announced that they will continue to operate the facility for the 2005 season. The entire St. Clair family and the staff at Wiscasset Raceway will return next season.”

Reynolds went on to add, “The rules and classes will remain the same, with minor changes to the rules.”

As far as the potential sale of the racetrack, David St. Clair said, “All negotiations have ceased and me and my family will return for next season. The schedule and rules will be released early next week.”
