COLFAX, Wis. – The Colby College women’s cross country team made school history with a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday.

Colby senior Karina Johnson earned All-America honors in her final race by placing 22nd overall in 22 minutes, 39.1 seconds over the six-kilometer course. Freshman Anna King also earned All-America honors with a 25th-place finish. The top 35 finishers in the race are named All-Americans.

Other Colby runners were Karen Prisby, Jess Minty, Elizabeth Petit, Elizabeth Turner of Cape Neddick and Hillary Easter of Jay.
