BANGOR – Mark Rivers tossed in 34 points Monday night as Eastern Maine Community College earned a 114-91 men’s basketball victory over Northern Maine Community College of Presque Isle.

Bruce Boyington added 14 points and Richard Korhonen 12 for the Golden Eagles, while Brooks Dyer had 10. Joe Willette had 11 rebounds and Jason Chasse had eight points and 10 boards.

Craig Durost paced the Falcons with a 29 points and Peter Baker tallied 28.

Travis Magnusson netted 16 points with five assists and Trafton Teague provided 14 points and six rebounds for 3-0 UMaine-Farmington.

Steve Monteiro’s game-high 24 points paced St. Joseph’s. Jon Pratt tossed in 16.
