Much has been said especially of late about the rights of gay couples to enter into legally recognized unions ensuring the same rights to gays that are inherent in heterosexual unions.
Those who oppose gay unions persist in ignoring what should be, in this day and age, the most fundamental issue militating against such alliances: the issue of adoption, the heart of the heart of the issue, the gravitas gravitatis.
To think, to suggest, to propose, that a gay couple, whether male or female, has within its dimensions the capability of raising a normal heterosexual individual, male or female, is an absurdity of galactic magnitude, and it is nefarious and despicable for anyone of a gay persuasion to suggest otherwise. If gays are to have gay marriage, sooner or later they will demand the right of adoption.
That would be tragic!
