ROCKPORT – An exhibit titled “Contemporary Maine Carving” will open with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship’s Messler Gallery.

The exhibit will feature 18 Maine artists, sculptors, craftsmen and carvers and their works of art made from carved wood. The exhibit may be viewed online at www.woodschool.org. For information, call 594-5611.
