CASTINE – Shelley Gott led all scorers with 25 points as Maine Maritime Academy earned an 82-76 women’s basketball victory over Colby on Monday night.

The Mariners raced out to a 41-21 halftime lead and held on for the win over the White Mules of Waterville.

Alyssa Burns added 16 points and Amy Freeman nine for MMA.

Laura Williamson led the White Mules with 17 points while Wendy Bonner had 14.
