ORONO – An equine breeding management clinic will be held Saturday, Dec. 11, in the Bangor Room in the Memorial Union at the University of Maine.

Discussions include a talk on the UM equine program, the economics of the horse breeding industry, and an overview of horse breeding concerns. After the clinic, there will be a tour of the UM equine facilities at Witter Farm.

Registration is $10 and includes lunch. To register or for information, call 564-3301.

Correction: An item published in Tuesday’s State section about an equine breeding management clinic on Dec. 11 at the University of Maine incorrectly stated that the $10 registration fee included lunch. Participants are responsible for their own lunches.
