What a delightful, midday break is in store for all who attend a special fund-raiser for the junior class of Hodgdon High School.

Members of the Zoot Suit Revue Back Door Dance Studio of Eddington will take the stage at noon Saturday, Dec. 4, at the high school in what Dannette Ellis of Hodgdon describes as a “dinner-theater presentation.”

That is because, while members of Zoot Suit Revue are entertaining you with their renditions of dances from the ’20s through the ’50s, you’ll be eating a delicious spaghetti dinner served by members of the high school’s junior class.

Admission to this fun event is by donation, which makes it a wonderful bargain for large families, Ellis said.

Chuck and Sue McKay of Eddington are directors of Zoot Suit Revue, an all-volunteer dance company that raises funds for groups and organizations throughout eastern Maine.

All proceeds from this dinner theater will benefit HHS junior class projects and events.

“We hope it will be lots of fun, and we’re hoping for a good turnout,” Ellis said.

No matter what you’re doing Saturday noon, you should take a break, enjoy lunch and this show. It will make your day.

The event is free and open to the public.
