Olivia Zurek and Kari Simpson
Olivia Zurek, a senior at Bates College, and sophomore Kari Simpson of UMaine-Farmington have been named Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association co-players of the week. Zurek scored 10 points, pulled down six rebounds, and had six steals to pace the Bobcats over nationally ranked Southern Maine. Simpson scored 20 points and had eight steals, eight rebounds, and three blocked shots to pace the Beavers over St. Joseph’s of Standish.
