BANGOR – Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine will hold its third annual Holiday Gingerbread House Competition at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, at Eastern Maine Community College, Rangeley Hall, 354 Hogan Road.
Both students and the public are invited to create gingerbread houses, and a panel of judges will select the best ones. The winner will receive a prize, and the houses will be raffled off. All proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine grants the wishes of children living with life-threatening medical conditions, and has granted more than 500 wishes since its formation in 1992.
