BRUNSWICK – Former Bangor High star Zak Ray scored 20 points and dished out six assists to help lead the Bates College Bobcats to an 85-66 men’s basketball win over the Bowdoin College Polar Bears Thursday night.

Rob Stockwell scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to pace Bates while Jon Furbush chipped in with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Kevin Bradley scored 15 points to lead Bowdoin. Kyle Petrie added 13 points and Andrew Sargeantson put in 10.
