BANGOR – United Way of Eastern Maine will provide two tools for nonprofit agencies and their board members this month.
BoardMatch, a new online database that can be accessed through www.unitedwayem.org, will connect community members interested in serving on a nonprofit group’s board of directors with the organization that would benefit most from their skills.
The agency is sponsoring a popular workshop that addresses the core responsibilities of nonprofit board members from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, at Bangor Savings Bank’s G. Clifton Eames Learning Center at 203 Maine Ave.
