Hoorah for letter writer Rosalie Welch-Johnson’s stand in the Dec. 3 edition of the Bangor Daily News (“Targeting bell ringers”).

Where are our rights, we who believe in the one true God in heaven? We have no rights, they are being taken away, but you can profess to be a witch, Muslim, homosexual and every other immoral thing under the sun, but heaven forbid that you mention Jesus Christ for whom everything everywhere is all about.

I will, along with Welch-Johnson, boycott Target stores – their employees can’t even say “Merry Christmas.”

The ACLU should be stopped from all their blasphemous laws they’re trying to pass against those who believe in Christ.

The Constitution says separation of church, where does it say separation from Christ? It was so the churches were separated – not God and his Son.

Let us have rights. What harm can a manger, the Ten Commandments or any other religious symbol harm? Except to convict those in the wrong of their evil deeds.
