BRUNSWICK – The Navy’s Blue Angels will be coming to Brunswick Naval Air Station next fall for the first time in years.
The flight demonstration team’s last show in Brunswick was canceled days after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. The Blues last performed in Maine in 2000 at the Bangor International Airport.
The Blue Angels, based at Pensacola Naval Air Station, Fla., released their 2005 schedule Thursday. The Blue Angels will fly 69 demonstrations at 35 sites. The Maine stop is one of just two in New England.
