Monks nip Bengals in OT Gerrity scores 1,000th career point in Bates’ victory

FORT KENT – The Saint Joseph’s College Monks rallied in overtime for a 96-91 men’s basketball victory over the UMaine-Fort Kent Bengals Saturday.

Jon Pratt led St. Joseph’s of Standish with 23 points. Chad Pulkkinen had 20, Noah LaRoche 17, Marcus Alexander 14 and Steve Monteiro 13.

Billy Russo scored 13 points, had 10 rebounds and two blocked shots for Fort Kent. Chad Gervais added 23 points and four steals Derrick Cooper added 19 points, Darius Parker had 15 points and Bartas Samaitis with 14 points.
