MILBRIDGE – The Down East Microenterprise Network will run a series of free training in January and February to introduce owners of businesses with four or fewer employees to new concepts that will empower them to start, expand and improve their operations.

The first training, “Introduction and Keys to Business Success,” will be held 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at Washington County Community College in Calais.

“Starting Your Own Business: Planning for Success” will be held 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Jan. 11, at the University of Maine at Machias.
