BRUNSWICK – Nancy Marshall Communications took home top honors this year at the Maine Public Relations Council’s Annual Golden Arrow Awards Ceremony December 2.

In addition to being awarded the Gold Award for Best Communications Campaign for a Nonprofit Organization, the agency’s Pine Tree Zone campaign beat out nearly 80 other entries in 11 categories for the overall award.

The client was the Office of Business Development of the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development.

The Pine Tree Zones have been favored by Gov. John Baldacci as an economic development tool. Eligible companies creating new jobs receive tax breaks and lower electricity costs.
