The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will offer a series of college planning workshops throughout the months of December and January. MEOC assists adults who are considering college that have the potential but cannot do it alone. They have been providing valuable support services to help students who come from low income and working families since 1991.

All workshops are from 9 a.m. to noon unless otherwise noted. The workshops are scheduled as follows:

. Monday, Dec. 27, at Bangor Hall at the University College Bangor.

. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at the Training Development Corp., 45 Oak St. in Bangor.

. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Penquis Higher Education at 50 Mayo St. in Dover-Foxcroft.

. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at University College at Thomaston, 60 Main St.

. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at the Hutchinson Center, 80 Belmont Ave. in Belfast.

. Thursday, Dec. 30, at the Augusta Career Center, 2 Anthony Ave.

. 5:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, at University College at Thomaston.

. Monday, Jan. 3, at Bangor Hall at the University College Bangor.

. Tuesday, Jan. 4, at the Hancock County Higher Education Center, 248 State St. in Ellsworth.

. Tuesday, Jan. 4, at University College at Thomaston.

. Wednesday, Jan. 5, at the Hutchinson Center in Belfast.

. Thursday, Jan. 6, at the University College at the Houlton Center on 18 Military St.

. Thursday, Jan. 6, at Bangor Hall at the University College Bangor.

. Friday, Jan. 7, at the Unobskey School at UMS Calais on 71 Main St.

. Friday, Jan. 7, at the Augusta Career Center, 2 Anthony Ave.

. Friday, Jan. 7, at the Presque Isle Career Center, 66 Spruce St.
