BRUNSWICK – Zach Wilson scored four goals to lead the Brewer Witches to a 10-2 high school hockey victory over the Mount Ararat Eagles at Dayton Arena Saturday.

Matt Grimes added a goal and three assists for the 2-0 Witches. Devin Fitzpatrick, Dan Juilli, Ben Caldwell, Prentiss Swett and Tyler Coombs each had a goal. Jake Richter had two assists as Aaron Saunders and Jimmy Nicknair combined to make 10 saves on 12 shots.

Drew Erickson and Tyler Hitchcock each scored a goal for 0-3 Mount Ararat of Topsham. Jordan Bichcest and Keenan Baker each had an assist. Jordan Martin and Pat Chambers combined to stop 44 of 54 shots.

Hampden 2, Houlton-Hodgdon 1

At T.J. Ryan Center in Brewer on Saturday, Jason Huntley’s breakaway goal off an Ian Lee assist 2:14 into overtime lifted Hampden Academy to victory.

Hampden (2-0) took a 1-0 lead at 3:14 of the first period as Dan Mangano scored on assists from Jason Huntley and Nick Beal.

Houlton-Hodgdon (0-1) tied the match at 5:13 of the first when Ian Pasquarelli scored on the rebound of his own initial shot.

Goalies Aaron Fitzpatrick of Houlton-Hodgdon and Rory Woods of Hampden then kept the offenses at bay until Huntley scored the game-winner.

Fitzpatrick finished with 39 saves, while Woods made 15 saves.

Foxcroft 5, Old Town 2

At Alfond Arena, Orono, Mike Winkler scored two goals to lead Foxcroft Academy to the win.

David White and Derek Smith each scored a goal and had two assists for 2-0 Foxcroft and Billy Moriarty added a goal. Jon Catell made 34 saves on 36 shots.

Patrick Singer had a goal and an assist for 0-3 Old Town. Josh Hesseltine scored a goal and Chris St. Louis had an assist. J.P. Stowe stopped 38 of 43 shots.

Ellsworth 50, Caribou 32

At Ellsworth, Andy Tracy scored 22 points, including seven in the fourth quarter, to lead Ellsworth to the win.

Demetrios Katsiaficas totaled 13 points for Ellsworth and Corey Dewitt added 11 points.

Kyle Corrigan scored nine points for Caribou.
