WASHBURN – Jason Thompson poured in 37 points and Zach Bird contributed 20 points and five steals to lead Washburn to an 87-63 schoolboy basketball victory over Easton Tuesday night.

Adam Thompson rounded out the Washburn scoring with 10 points.

Steve Hopkins had 20 points for the Bears. J.R. Kierstead scored 12, Mitchell Blodgett had 11 and Brandon Carlow had 10.

Joseph Fonollosa made 23 saves for the 4-2 Panthers.
