The Black Bear Gliders, a new cross country ski club based in Orono, is accepting registrations for the 2004-05 season. The club promotes cross country skiing, healthy lifestyles, fun and community.

The Gliders offer instruction for children and adults, and sponsor trips, an equipment exchange and discounts at local ski shops. The club also gives children up to age 13 a chance to participate in the prestigious Bill Koch League.
